WHAT TO EXPECT
What is a Waitlist?
Welcome! Thank you for your interest in our mental health services. Unfortunately, due to high demand for our services, we sometimes need to open a waitlist before we are able to offer you regular, weekly sessions. A waitlist allows us to keep your information on file and contact you when a spot opens with either your preferred therapist or a therapist in our office.
When will the Waitlist open?
We are currently scheduled through the summer but do, however, have a WAITLIST AVAILABLE that is expected to open in late fall. We plan to schedule new clients in November 2020.
How do I add me or my child to the Waitlist?
Contact our office at (209) 968-1707 to complete an initial screening with our staff. Should we have a clinician that can meet your needs, we will take your name and contact information and add you or your child to the waitlist. We can also provide you with additional resources for you to explore in the meantime, should you choose to do so.
We do ask, however, that if you schedule with another provider, please contact our office so we may remove your name from the waitlist.
What should I expect when you call me back?
Upon opening the waitlist, we will contact each person on the list in the order they were added and offer you the next available spot. You will be given approximately 48 hours (business hours) to contact our office to schedule. Upon making contact with you, we will offer you the next available appointment and schedule you with your preferred therapist or a therapist who can best meet your needs.
If we do not hear from you within this time, we will assume you are no longer interested in services and open that spot to the next individual. However, if you have missed this window and are still interested in services, you are still welcome to contact our office and inquire about current availability. However, should we be fully booked there is a possibility you may be placed back on a waitlist.
- Our office will contact you by phone, please ensure your mailbox is set up and able to receive messages
- If you prefer we contact you via another form, please let our office staff know at the time you are added to the waitlist
I don’t think I can wait until November
If you would prefer to be scheduled sooner, we’d be happy to provide you with additional resources. You can contact our office staff at (209) 968-1707.
If you are in crisis please
- Contact your local crisis line (Tuolumne County, Stanislaus County)
- Go to the nearest emergency room
- Call the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline at 1-800-273-8255
We appreciate your understanding and sincerely apologize for our inability to get you scheduled immediately. We know it is difficult to finally make the decision to seek therapy, then begin making calls to find a therapist only to find out you may have to wait several weeks even months before getting scheduled. Know that we do our best to get you scheduled as soon as possible.
If you feel we maybe be a good fit for you or your child and would like to be added to our wait list, contact our office at (209) 968-1707.
Thank you for your patience. We look forward to speaking with you.
