Child and Teen Counseling

Our Child and Teen Counseling services help children process and heal from exposure to traumatic situations and/or distressing events. Such events may include, but are not limited to, emotional abuse or neglect, exposure to violence in the home or school, bullying, separation from a parent or caregiver, car accidents, and sexual abuse.
Note for parents/caregivers seeking services as a result of child sexual abuse: When your child takes the brave step of disclosing sexual abuse, it can be emotional, terrifying, confusing, and a difficult process to navigate for both caregiver and child. Your child may experience an array of emotions including confusion, fear, shame, emotional sensitivity, anger/irritability or guilt. When your child is ready, we can provide a safe space to help your child process and heal from the trauma.
