Ashley has spent several years working in non-profit and school-based settings working with children, families, and adults. Through her school-based work as an Educationally Related Mental Health Services (ERMHS) Clinician, Ashley participated in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and provided emotional support to children struggling to meet academic expectations within their educational placements. In Ashley's experience as a school-based mental health clinician, she developed a passion for supporting children and teens through the difficulties that can arise in academic settings. Ashley believes in the importance of education and also understands the various barriers that can impede a child's learning. Whether it be social/emotional struggles, family stressors, a Learning Disability (LD), or an Other Health Impairment (OHI), Ashley supports children and parents through these barriers to get to a place of healing, improved functioning, self-confidence, and an overall positive sense of well being.

Ashley also has individual and group therapy experience in working with severe mental illness and addiction, including co-dependency issues, dual diagnosis, depression, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD).
